It's Magic!

Recently li'l Brother1 has been showing a great interest in the big bin of magic tricks that has been hiding under my bed for the past... three years? Well, something like that. See, eons ago I was part of the 'Magician's Ring!' and performed magic on a regular basis. I practice like mad and knew all the tricks in the books (no, really, I read every single one that I had - in a certain book).

Now, a while later, I still have the mindset to figure those things out nowadays. I love going to a magic show and looked closely, trying to figure out how to do the trick. I'm none to bad at that nowadays.

Anyhow Brother1 stumbled upon my sockpile of quite a few tricks. Maybe I should start relearning them, so I could share with the guy. He's such a sweetheart, and her really does try, but he ends up giving the trick away every single time XD

Gosh, I love that boy.

What a meeting...

Here in my neiborhood we have CC&Rs/Home Owners Association... Once a year they have a meeting. In the ten years we've lived here, we've never gone.

Recently, a lot of people haven't been happy with the Home Owners Association, and there has been a lot of action going on... This year, my entire family and I all went to the meeting so we could understand what was going on.

Big mistake.

You wouldn't believe the hostility there was. One person from the Board (the people in charge of the Association) had just started to talk when a lady got out of her seat and started jabbing her finger at him and saying things that we couldn't hear from our seat. Then a lot people started clapping and going 'yeah! yeah!' in the end, the entire Board had to leave, and this woman who kept yelling 'Go to the press! Go to the press!' went up as well as a much more sensible woman, but everyone kept yelling and talking at once... it was like a movie! Or watching Judge Joe Brown (not that actually watch or like that show, but I have seen it a couple of times on TV)...

Anyway, absloutely nothing was occomplished and Dear Sister, Brother1, Brother2 and I were the only kids there so I didn't meet any new kids or make any new friends... In the end, we all decided to go home and rent the fifth movie of Harry Potter and eat cookies--a very tempting alternative!

CHRISTMAS!!!

I love the Christmas feel! It's so warm and cozy and magical... ahhh... best of all, Daddy get's to stay home for the whole day!

Mommy and Daddy got me two presents, they had me unwrap the big one first; guess what it was?

Sheets.

Yes, sheets. Sure they were really cozy sheets, but still sheets. Then they had me open the small one, guess what that its?

MIND TRAP II!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's like one of the BEST things they could have gotten me! (Mind Trap is a bunch of puzzles with loads of trick questions and brain benders, Mind Trap II has even more! I love trick questions and brain benders!) Dear Sister got a mini MP3 player, (I got one for my birthday) and Brother1 got three foam swords (thank goodness!). We had some yummy pumpkin bread topped with 'cream cheese' frosting and pecan praline (all made and mixed at home) for breakfast! It was sooooo good! Nana and Don should be coming over to hang out with us, and we might stop by Aunt Katie's house, Grandma Janie is staying there at the moment. Soon we'll start carroling like crazy! My favorite is deck the halls.
