LIFE IS GOOD

_{BEWARE! Random italicized German words will follow in this post.}So, I was takin' college testing, and I was panicking because I somehow forgot how to divide.

WAM! Mom appears in the doorframe. She holds up a slip of paper:

DON'T PANIC, the paper says, in large friendly letters. Just like the Hitchhiker's Guide. It continues as she unfolds the parchment: It's all good. I love and adore you.

And suddenly this warm glow overcame me and I finished with college level reading and writing, followed by high school level math. Viola! Not that that has anything to do with what's going on right now, but I just wanted to proclaim how wunderbar my world really is.

Don't panic, world! It's all good! People love and adore me. I am so happy.

Now, I'm sick to my stomach thanks to too much of Momma's homemade pie, and I just saw videos of dear Mutter pre-meeting-Vater, and I just danced to some of my favorite songs (BREAKING BENJAMIN :D), and I just hung out with my dear Aunt Mars and Grandma and her BF, and I just partied like it was 2011 BABY, so I just wanted to say just how cool and sweaty and happy I am. No alcohol involved, I swear. (Dear Sis and I have a pact. But that's another post).

So. Life's cool. Life's great.

AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMY. I LOVE AND ADORE YOU.
You rock :3

'Brother' would be 'Bruder' auf Deutsch (in German). 'Brothers' would be the same, but with a couple dots over the U. Since we don't have those on our keyboards, I usually spell it 'Brueder'. It's so cool of you to comment, Aunt Mars, I miss you a whole bunch! Thanks again for all those wunderbar cherries -- I had a lot of fun going out with you :3

In the year 2030, when near 18-year-old Emma Corte begins to have terrible nightmares of murder, mayhem, and a mysterious assassin, she also begins to notice differences in her abilities - since when could she defeat seven trained men with her bare hands?

Meanwhile, in another world, Destin, the chief of security of a strange land called 'Arrivia', and his assistant, Argon, attempt to unravel the mystery of a string of murders, which is somehow linked to Emma Corte and the long abandoned, terrible accident of Project 6-1-2.

In case you didn't know...

I use a few references for my family and other things. They can get a little confusing so I thought I’d type them up for you:

Dear Sister: My wonderful sister 'Rose' (her blogger name), who is about a year and a half younger than me and almost 14. I told her she isn't allowed to get that old, but she's doing it anyway.

Nana: Is my fabulous Grandmother--a.k.a. Persimmon.

Grandpa Ken: Is my wonderful Grandfather and Grandma Janie's husband.

Grandma Janie: My awesome Grandma Janie whose birthday is chrismas eve!

Aunt Katie: is actually my great aunt--Grandma Janie's twin sister--, but even though we just call her aunt, I can assure you she's great!

Brother1: Is my handsome six years old (aready?) brother. Brother2: Is my cute three year old brother.

Mommy: My fantastic mother.

Daddy: My completely obnoxious and fun father.

D&D: Dungeons and Dragons, a role playing game where you make up a character and go on adventures that your friends have planned out by using dice to determine chance. It really is quite fun. I don't get why Mommy hates it.

Kings Of Darkness: A series I was writing when I was a wee little thing. I have to re-work it now, but I still plan on finishing it.

That Story With Esme and Faun: This is a long stand-alone story I'm about a third of the way through, starring gypsy boy Faun Tallis and his wispy twin sister Esme on their quest to regain his soul and save their skins.

RA: Rheumatoid Arthritis; the disease I had for almost three years. My joints swelled, and I had to give up ballet because of it. Low-dose Naltroxone (I'm pretty sure that's how it's spelled) saved me.

The Latest On Kings Of Darkness:

I finished my first draft of K.o.D. April 17th, 2009, and spent a long, long time editing. In the end I decided that it was subquality writing and than now, a little older and a little wiser, I can do much better. I plan to rewrite the entire story and compact what was originally going to be four books into one or two.
