A Whole New World

I've just started learning HTML... It is soooo awesome! You can do all these cool things like write above, or below the line! Or you could stryke strike out words! Well, I think that's all I have to say... I just needed to tell you about HTML. It's opened up a world of possibilities!

New Years Resolution

It's so hard to believe that the year of 2007 is nearly at an end... after all it was the year I was blessed with a new brother... the year I choreographed my first ballet... the year my mom cut her hair... the year I cut my hair... the year we took a mini vacation to Portland for daddy's Birthday... the year I started Kings Of Darkness... one of the best years of my life... I hope that 2008 will measure up.

I have two resolutions for the next year:

1: My first resolution for the next year is to finish Kings Of Darkness and find a skilled illustrator who can really draw the characters as I see them in my mind.
2: My second resolution for this year is to get a job--as a baby-sitter maybe.

That's it... for now.

Wish me luck!

'Wednesday' Wishes

In the after Christmas excitement I forgot about Wednesday Wishes! So here's Thursday Wishes:

1: I wish I could fly.
2: I wish my whole family could feel young and healthy for their entire lives!
3: I wish that the little sprouts (see earlier post) will grow big and strong.
4: I wish that I had the Sims 2 Free Time
5: I wish I had a job.
6: I wish that in the future Kings of Darkness will become as big of a hit as Harry Potter.
7: I wish that there were more good movies out there.
8: I wish that all the books and movies I'm waiting to come out were in my home finished and fabulous.
9: I wish that my whole family lived in the state of Oregon.
10: I wish for new years day to be WONDERFUL!

SPROUTS!

Remember my post about apple trees? Remember how Dear Sister and I planted some apple seeds? One of them has sprouted! And with a new sprout comes a new name, Dear Sister planted that seed so she got to name it... The new sprout's name is Apple. I stood against it but I'm sure I'll worm up to it eventually... and she is Paris' sprout. Besides the name, I LOVE my little tree! Here are some pictures of our new plant:

You might recognize the Pot from Laura and Joy (my too mini trees), they outgrew these ones so I moved them into bigger ones and used this to plant seeds in. The whole planting process was all rather easy, we folded the seeds in a moist paper towel and put it in a Zip-Loc baggy. We'd change the paper towel every once in a while until the seeds started to sprout. Then we stuck them in a pot filled with dirt about and inch deep and watered every once in a while. In the end, we have this sprout!

CHRISTMAS!!!

I love the Christmas feel! It's so warm and cozy and magical... ahhh... best of all, Daddy get's to stay home for the whole day!

Mommy and Daddy got me two presents, they had me unwrap the big one first; guess what it was?

Sheets.

Yes, sheets. Sure they were really cozy sheets, but still sheets. Then they had me open the small one, guess what that its?

MIND TRAP II!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's like one of the BEST things they could have gotten me! (Mind Trap is a bunch of puzzles with loads of trick questions and brain benders, Mind Trap II has even more! I love trick questions and brain benders!) Dear Sister got a mini MP3 player, (I got one for my birthday) and Brother1 got three foam swords (thank goodness!). We had some yummy pumpkin bread topped with 'cream cheese' frosting and pecan praline (all made and mixed at home) for breakfast! It was sooooo good! Nana and Don should be coming over to hang out with us, and we might stop by Aunt Katie's house, Grandma Janie is staying there at the moment. Soon we'll start carroling like crazy! My favorite is deck the halls.

Merry Merry Christmas!!!

Last Day of Ballet

Today was the last day of my ballet until 2008!!! I can't believe this year went by so fast... But then again, at the end of every year I feel this way... (big sigh) On the last day of Ballet, your family can come and watch a class. Mommy and Daddy and Dear Sister and Brother1 & 2 all came to see me on the first part... but they had to leave later... (my slogan:) oh well... At least Nana and Don were able to stay! Don loves to take pictures--he took like a million of my class--so I'll post some pretty prictures of my ballet some time 2007.

Merry Merry Chrismas!

I now invent Wednesday Wishes!

(For some reason it says that this post was posted on Monday, but it is Wednesday that I did this post F.Y.I.)

Wednesday Wishes is where (shocker) we write the ten things we are wishing for this very day.

1: I wish that we could go to Gym Day today, but Dear Sister isn't feeling well, and honestly neither am I. Plus, it doesn't seem like that many people are going to be there.
2: I wish I could get the picture of me at the top of my blog to work right.
3: I wish I could fly.
4: I wish I could finish Kings of Darkness before the new year.
5:
I wish that I could have a little cubbie I could go into without being claustrophobic.
6: I wish that Grandma Janie and Aunt Katie will love the presents we give them for their Birthdays!
7: I wish I had a job.
8: I wish I could get a lead role in a play.
9: I wish I could play that T.N.G. game I got on my birthday but haven't gotten to play.
10: I wish that Mommy and Daddy would come to see me dance this Friday.

I'm pretty sure that's it... You can now expect this every Wednesday.

Laura and Joy

A long time ago my Grandmother bought me and my siblings two mini Christmas trees! They're sooooo cute! I talk to them a lot... I even named them: the one of the left is: Laura Cheer A. The one on the right is: Karen (after my grandmother) Joy A.--we usually just call her Joy. Laura is about ten inches tall, and Joy is about six.
Here's a picture:

My absolutely adorable brother wanted to be in this one:

Well, there you go! Our gorgeous mini trees!

Review: Enchanted

I watched this movie with my grandmother... it was really good!

Story: VERY cute! It's a bit romantic with a touch of humor, a dash of song, a sprinkle of fun, and a happy ending! The story was easily followed and was appropriate for the whole family, the script made me laugh numerous times and was just plain cute!

Quality: The animations were great, the non-animation was great, the effects were excellent... what more can I say?

Acting Quality: BELIEVABLE in the true sense of the word. The lead actress was amazing, I thought she popped out of a fairy tale book! The prince was dashing and handsome and royal and gracious, the lead actor was very fun and sensible, completely perfect for the part! The little girl did a very good job for her age--I was impressed--and pretty much all around the cast was awesome!

Violence: Zero

Recommendations: This movie is great for THE WHOLE FAMILY.

Overall
Rating
(out of 10): 8

Review: Pirates of the Carribean: At Worlds End

The day before yesterday I watched that movie, I'd seen the first and that's one of my favorite movies, I'd seen the second and thought that was really bad; here's my review of the third:

Story: The story line was very hard to follow, it started some where that had almost nothing to do with the ending of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, I never fully understood what was going on and it was very vague. It was about 2 hours to long and had an awful ending... Will could only see Elizabeth one day out of TEN YEARS! It wasn't even poetical. Not only was the story hard to follow, but it just wasn't any good, and there wasn't much of it... 80% of the movie was fluff.

Quality: Several of the effects looked pretty bad to me, and the light hearted humor that made me love the first was non-existent, the humor that was there was very mean spirited, I suppose there were a couple of funny points, but they were only copies of the first, in other words, they were the same jokes!

Acting Quality: All in all, it didn't impress me.

Violence: The beginning of the movie was watching dozens of people getting hanged, you saw them walk on, you saw the noose put around their neck, you saw the lever pulled, then you saw their feet fall through. They even had a boy get hanged, though you didn't see the feet fall. For every one minute of non-violence, there were five of violence. It made me sick. And even when the pirates won (I'd say the good guys, but there weren't really good or bad guys in the movie), when you should be going "YEAH!!!" they show this clip that took away the sweet taste of victory.

Recommendations: The type of people I would recommend this movie to is NO ONE.

Over All Rating (out of 10): 1

Apple Trees

Remember my post the perfect apples (if not, go read it)? Well, we're trying to plant some apple seeds from one of those wonderful apples! We folded them in a moist paper towel and put that in a plastic Zip-Loc baggy. Then we waited until the seeds were germinated... now what? We looked it up and all the sites said to plant the seeds outside, but we don't want to do that because it will take many years to grow, and we'll probably be out of this house by then! We want to grow the seeds in a pot until it can't possibly stay in one any longer... is that possible? We also read that the fruit of a younger apple tree won't be at all like the fruit of its parent... so we don't really know what to do... We'll probably just wing it... I'll post ten years from now and tell you how it went.

Blog Tag

I've been indirectly tagged by Qacei Moonshadow (once you've been 'tagged', you have to write a post of 10 random facts about yourself. At the end you write the 10 people you are tagging, listing their names and why you chose them)

1: Often I stay up late to read, the latest I've stayed up to is 5:00AM.
2: I hate wearing my hair in a bun--it looks too serious--but I end up wearing it that way a lot because of ballet.
3: The thing that smells best to me is fresh air right after it rains... it’s just so cool and crisp...
4: I HATE sad endings and think they should be eliminated from this earth unless it's in the movie Phenomenon (which you MUST see).
5: My father and I have a strange sense of humor that no one else gets... it's so weird...
6: I don't regret anything; sure, there are some things that I'm not proud of, but if they didn't happen I might not be here now. The only thing in the world I regret is (WAY back before I was Vegan) ordering a McDonald's Sundae instead of a plain Ice Cream Cone.
7: When I was little, the color of my eyes would change colors! It would be blue for an hour or too, then green. Now it's just green, and though I wish it still changed, I love the green of my eyes, it's so unique! I love unique!
8: I name plants, seriously, I have two baby Ever-Greens named Laura Cheer A. and Karen (after my grandmother) Joy A.
9: I’ve almost run out of wishes to wish on the stars, which is quite shocking.
10: I truly love my big family and I love that it's big!

Now it's time to tag!

Rose (Dear Sister's blogger name): I tag you because I know you'll have fun and you haven't posted much, plus, I'll get to read funny things about you!
Gestalt/Lifelover: I tag you because you're the only other person I know on blogger, and just because I'm curious.

Unfortunately, I don't know anyone else to tag, so if you're reading, You're It!

P.S. No Tag Backs!

Yahoo! Acounts

are impossible! We tried a million differant names! We tried 'Galaxy', we tried 'Galaxy333', we tried 'Galaxy777', we tried 'Galaxy42', (42 being the answer to Life, the Universe and Everything) we tried 'Galaxy Dance', we tried 'Galaxy Dancer', THEY WERE ALL TAKEN. Finally we settled on a name that didn't have anything to do with Galaxy. So sad. Oh well.

Now you're wondering why I am making a Yahoo! account? I just started a Home-Schooling book club. Why do I need a Yahoo! Account for that? So I can open a Group at the Yahoo sight! The Group is called: The Fantasy Book Club. We have some cool book choices there so you can choose one of them, hit the 'reply' button and type a quick message saying you want to read that book, read the book, then go to the F.B.C. (Fantasy Book Club) meeting, where ever that may be. We would decide where once me and Dear Sister know how many people are interested. We are really just starting this whole thing out. It should be really fun. I always wanted to be in a book club!

Love,

The Perfect Apples

Mommy and Daddy bought some apples at First Alternitive, nothing wrong with that. Then we tasted the apples. Then we tasted some more. Then we bought ten dollars worth and decided to plant our own tree of them. They were PERFECT!!! The didn't look much differant from your average apple, besides the fact that they were rather large, but if you tasted them... it was like candy I tell you! We couldn't stop eating them! I LOVE those apples...

New Years Resolution: Get A Job!

I want to get a job. I have some money saved up from birthdays (of course) but I really want to earn money, so I decided that I can spend a little money here and there to advertise my soon-to-be Baby Sitting business! I'm going to take the Red Cross class this upcoming January; I already started making Brochures and signs! I can't wait to get started! I LOVE little children so it should be really fun. Plus, I'll be open on school hours, so that will be a big sales pitch. As for Nanny Cams, I really do think that they're great because you can see what really is going on, and I definitely wouldn't mind if one of the people I'm going to work for used one, actually, I'm thinking about supplying my own Nanny Cam, but I don't know if I have enough money or if I want to spend it on that.

The Dark Crystal and Snickerdoodle Cookies

Once upon a time, before we were vegan, Dear Sister and I were watching a movie called the 'Dark Crystal', we were very little and LOVED it. While we were watching it, we were eating non-vegan snickerdoodle cookies, since then, whenever we think of snickerdoodles, we think of the 'Dark Crystal' and vise versa. We watched it two other times and still loved it, we were still young.

Now I made these Vegan Snickerdoodles and we watched the Dark Crystal. It was really bad. But we still loved it because of the wonderful child memories of it (not that we aren't still children now). So weird.

Back to Ballet

Yesterday I was able to go to ballet because I'm no longer sick (hallelujah!!!). You can still see some of my pox marks (especially on my legs) but they've all scabbed over. I can't wait until they all go away and I don't have to see these AWFUL spots all over me! Tomorrow is gym day and me and Rose (Dear Sister's blogger name) have big plans. I'm so excited about seeing all my friends again! I hope they'll all be there.

Really Not Fair

Yeah, I'm sick too. I just got over chicken pox, I'm even still covered in scabs (those are SO hard not to pick at), and yet I got sick again.

Thanks Giving was AWESOME though, so that made up for it. We all hanged out and ate DELICIOUS food. Then we played Pictionary. There are only two things I'd like to change about it: I'd make us all NOT sick, and that we could find the recipe that we've been looking forwards to all year: Pumpkin Cinnabons. Other than that our Thanks Giving was great. We still have leftovers, but I don't think they're going to last much longer.

We got a new faucet and filter, Daddy is installing it right now. It's pretty cool. I can't wait to ust it!

That's it for now. Happy Late Thanks Giving!

Life Is Fun, But NOT Fair

Rose (dear sister's blogger name) is sick. Again. She just had chicken pox, can't she have a break!? Brother1 is sick to. He just had chicken pox.

WHY!!??!!????!!!!?

I'm not sick (well, I'm at the very tail end of chicken pox); yet. I just wish we could all be healthy. Oh well. I hope after this we'll all be healthy for eight years. That would be fair. But life just ain't fair. And that's not fair. 'Fair'... a strange word that we all want, yet is impossible to get. So sad.

Anyway, tomorrow is Thanks Giving! It won't be to big, my Grandmother (we all call her Nana ['na', like in 'tall', not like in 'nanny', then 'uh', like in 'what?']) and her boyfriend Don will be coming, but that's all. It will be fun. We'll hang out and eat delicious food. Mommy and I are going to start Thanks Giving dinner today, if we don't, it won't be done until the day after tomorrow. We need to make the Tofurky, Stuffing, Pumpkin Pie, Gravy, Nut Loaf, Cream Cheese Frosting (for the Pumpkin Cinnabons, see the 'Thanks Giving Menu' post), and Whipped Cream (for the pie).

Well, there are some reasons why life isn't fair. But it is fun.

Kings Of Darkness: (the attack on Rariila)

Here's some of Kings Of Darkness (right now May--form our world--is stuck in the magical land of Glorsifil, she and the rest of the Rebels are trying to evacuate Rariila--a small town--before the evil King Ronan comes to kill all of them because they are the Rebels allies, Gloria, a ghost, can make people appear in different locations, in this case she's trying to get all of the women and children to the Rebel Base)

“I think that’s everyone, did we miss anyone, Ghedric?” Darren said to a tall dark man. Ghedric seemed to be 20, he had black thick hair that looked untamed. His eyes were brown, he didn’t look to happy.
“No, I think we are ready to leave… Will Gloria be able to get all the woman and children out before long?” Ghedric said uneasily.
“She already has two thirds… Yes, I think so…” Fred said.
“Think? Think!? We don’t have time to think! This is their lives we have at stake! Their lives!!! Maybe we should take some of them with us!” said a man in the crowd.
“You know we hardly have enough horses for all of us; the sick can barely keep their heads up, let alone ride a steed, the children must stay with their mothers, besides, all of them will be there before us, even if they leave later,” countered Fred.
“That is the problem! They will leave later!”
“There is nothing we can do… We are trying our best! I understand your fear more than you think… But we must leave if we are to live… Ronan will attack soon,” Darren said this sympathetically yet commandingly.
“Very well, but if one of my family-or anyone’s for that matter-is missing!” the man did not finish his threat.
“They will be there.”
“Darren!” May called, giving the appearance of just arriving.
“Hello May!” he answered. “Ghedric, this is May,”—Ghedric dipped his head in greeting—“and May, this is my good friend—and Fredrick’s cozen—Ghedric, leader of Rariila.”
“Pleasure,” said May.
“Of course,” he said.
“May, we best be going,” said Fred. “We have to back at base by the time Ronan attacks.”
“Alright… I guess I have to get back on one of those things?” she said gesturing to the horses.
“Yes, you do,” said Darren as he swung on one.
“You don’t like horses?” asked Ghedric
“No, I can’t stand them… they just… they're so big… I feel like if I get on one I’ll-I’ll fall to my death… Crazy, right?”
“No, not crazy at all, I feel the same way. You just have to train yourself to forget. I always thought I was the only one in the world!”
“Yeah, me too. All the rest of my family loved… Never mind… Let’s get out of here, time is of the essence.”
Darren looked down at May. He hadn’t known her for that long, but he could tell that she was very sad. He knew why… it was hard to lose ones family… He knew that very well. He reached down a hand to her.
“Come on May, let’s go home…”
May took his hand and clambered up without much difficulty.
“RUN FOR YOU LIVES!!! HE’S COMING!!! GET ON YOUR HORSES AND GET OUT! HE’S COMING!!!” screamed a voice.
May looked behind herself, she saw a man with a bloody face riding towards them.
“You heard him!” Darren yelled. “Gloria, do we have everyone!?”
“NO!!! I need ten minutes!” she said panicked.
Darren turned to the man.
“Forest, how long?!”
“Five.”
“We need to slow them down!”
People started disappearing at an astonishing rate.
May’s mind raced. She had to think of something.
We are in no way ready to fight… May remembered the Ma’Ge’s words…
“Can the women ride horses?”
“What?!” said Fred and Darren.
“Why don’t we switch!? I’m sure we can hold them off long enough for Gloria to get us out! I don’t see why the women here can’t ride horses. Unless they're all like me, that is.”
“What?” said Fred and Darren; such a thing had never occurred to them.
“It seems like it could work,” said Ghedric smiling. “We have to hurry. Darren, you and Fred get the women to the horses, there are less of them than us now, they should be able to take the children with them… it’s risky, but less than leaving them in the thick of battle… I’m sure we could tie the children on so they wouldn’t fall… What are you waiting for?!! We don’t have time!”

So, here's my story. If you have any questions about this segment, please tell me. I won't give you any more. No matter how much you beg. Seriously.

What do you think?

Operation Get Galaxy Up and more

This morning I wouldn't get up, so Dear Sister and Brother2 came in on 'operation get Galaxy up' and then they came in! They took my blanket, they took my pillow, they took my gigantic extra soft doggy, and then they tickled me; I got up. (sigh) I love them so much... I'm so lucky to have THREE siblings... Big family=big fun.

Brother2 is doing pretty bad. Mommy didn't get any sleep last night. It's not fair that a baby could get Chicken Pox... it just isn't! Hopefully I'll be able to go to ballet tomorrow, if I get past the contagious point by then. If not I will definitely go Wednesday.

I made breakfast today with Dear Sister's help. She made the Oat Meal and I made the Biscuits (she helped a little with the biscuits too), she set the table and I cleaned up the mess. The food looked so nice on our new plates (see post below)!

New Corelle Dishes

We have a new pasta bowl, a luncheon plate (I didn't take a picture of that plate because it looks just like the dinner plate only a little bit smaller), a dinner plate, a mini desert bowl, and a large bowl (I didn't take a picture of the large bowl because it looks just like the desert bowl only bigger). They all look SO gorgeous.

Desert Bowl:
(the large bowl looks just like this only large)
Dinner Plate:
( luncheon plate just like this only smaller,
note the ruffled edge)

Pasta Bowl:
(it's harder to see, but it has ruffled edges too)
We LOVE our new matching dishes! You don't know what it's like having beautiful dishes that match after having lame dishes for years!!! We all worked REALLY hard and picked these ones out. We are so happy!
What do you think?

Update:

Now that I'm done raving about showers (see post below) I can give you an update:

Kings Of Darkness: I haven't really worked on it that much... I just have had the worst headache...
Poor Poor Baby: Brother2 has chicken pox! He isn't even a year old! It isn't fair!
Dear Sister: Dear Sister is doing a lot better than I did... I had at least 1000 spots--easily. Want a picture? No, you don't.

Well, that's about all I have to update you to. I really haven't been up to much. We did watch Shrek the Third and enjoyed it, but it had a REALLY cheesy ending--and I mean REALLY cheesy. I finished the Rolling Stones by Robert Heinlein and enjoyed it, though I prefer fantasies and this book didn't really impress me. Mommy is reading Dear Sister and I the Rowan of Rin series by Emily Rodda. Now THOSE are good books. I LOVE Emily Rodda!!! I've already read the series a long time ago, but Dear Sister hasn't heard it and me and mommy love it so much that we are--she is, I mean--reading it to her.

Once upon a time I read five books out loud to Dear Sister, they were the Spiderwick books. We loved them. Now they're making a MOVIE about them! We are SO going to see it! It comes out February next year. I'll be counting the days.

Feeling a bit better,

Galaxy

Chicken Pox = Itch+Shower = No itch = heaven!!!

For all of you who have chicken pox, it's awful. Really really awful. You'll itch all day, you'll pull your hair out, you'll have the worst headache, but you have one escape!!! Take a shower. Turn the heat so hot that it almost burns you, as hot as you can possibly stand. You'll feel like your scratching! I'm serious! Daddy recommended this to me and since than I've been taking at least two showers a day, it's like you've stepped into heaven! I was sceptical at first. Then I took a shower. Then I wasn't. I tell you, take a hot, hot, HOT shower. You'll be glad you did.

Attack of the Chicken

Guess who got chicken pox?

ME!

It started as a bazillion 'bug bites', then I had this AWFUL headache, then I had the pox! I even had the vaccine and that didn't help at all... I just wish I was healthy. I have these awful pox marks and they itch like crazy! I feel like a vampire (the light hurts my eyes) and I'm really queasy. Dear Sister has it really bad, but it is her second day. Today is only my first. I don't want to miss gym day!!! I don't want to miss ballet!!! Oh well... I'll just have to wait 'til I get better. I hope it will be soon.

Galaxy

Chicken Pox Again

So my sister has the Pox, Brother1 had it really bad not to long ago, it was so sad! All he did was lie on the couch saying: "ow... ow... ow..." my heart broke! Now Dear Sister is suffering the same fate! I can't stand it! I've had the vaccine, so I won't get the Pox (fingers crossed). We won't be able to make it to Gym Day, which really rots because I've really been looking forwards to it for a whole week!!! Dear Sister and I had big plans... I don't know what we're going to do about ballet, but daddy is most likely going to take me. I wish we could all just be healthy... Oh well...

Harpy, NOT Blackbird

Here's my Halloween costume, I know it's late but I just figured out how to put pictures in my Blog and it's such a cool costume!!! What do you think? The only annoying thing about it was that everyone thought I was a bird... And the claws... Oh I hated the claws!!!

Princess Angelica

I'm also writing a musical called Princess Angelica. I've been working on it for years and I'm finally happy with it! I just need a good cast... Here's the list of the charractors.

Princess Angelica
Nurse/Drazel
Pixyrina
King/Michael
Tutor
Judge Mod
Lead Girl Villager
Angelica’s Mother
Little Angelica
Good Side Of King
Bad Side Of King
Tom
Girl Villagers
Boy Villagers/Wolves

It's got some pretty cool songs in it! I really want to perform it, I'd be the director of course! My favorite song in it is 'I Wanna Break Free', I also like 'Angelica'. The rest are good and dandy, just not as wonderful as those two... I haven't done much with Kings of Darkness since I made it a quarter of the way through. Once I finish it I'll tell you.

Kings of Darkness/Thanks Giving

YES!!!

I'm a quarter of the way through Kings Of Darkness! Page #50! (I plan to make it 200 pages) I'm so excited!!! I love my story! I can't wait 'til it's done!!! I've got to go to ballet soon, so I can't post much. Trevor is as cute as always and I can't wait until Thanks Giving! We're going to make tofurky!

We might invite two of Dear Sister's and my friends and their parents to our house for Thanks Giving, as far as we know, they don't have any family around and we owe them, they had us over for movies a while ago! It would be SOOO fun! We'd love to show them a vegan Thanks Giving!!! I hope they can... I better get going... Thanks for reading!

Love,

Fall Fashions

Hey!

So it's the cold season and that means that it's fall fashion! No more cute skorts or simple sundresses, which is sad, but now it's time to pull out all of those turtle necks (a great look on a cool day, they work really well with jeans and a head band), sweat shirts (these look good with jeans or sweats and I would put my hair in a pony braid [two braids that join together at the back of my neck and become a pony tail the rest of the way]), and sweats (sweats work best with--big surprise--sweat shirts)! I'm going to be a Harpy for Halloween hopefully, though i might end up being whatever we have in the dress up clothes... I really want to be a Harpy though. Home School Gym Day (when all of us homeschoolers go to a gym and hang out) is cancelled this Halloween, which makes me really sad because i wanted to hang out with my friends and show off my costume... Oh well... I'll still have fun.

Any suggestions on where to find a black jumpsuit for the harpy i want to be?

Life

I was just playing dolls with Dear Sister and Daddy... Even though I'm 12 years old I've never grown out of them... I guess i don't enjoy them as much as i used to, but i still love to play with Dear Sister! I also love playing Dungeons & Dragons, it's just so much fun!!!

I love doing point work at ballet, even though I'm not that talented--though i do excel in the rest of ballet... ohhhhhhhhhhh my feet hurt... the one penalty of the wonderful art of ballet: you're sore all the time... Oh well, i love it.

Life is pretty good, i made some fluffy carob cookies yesterday and they were absolutely fantastic! Even though I'm vegan (when i say vegan i don't mean i don't use leather or i don't eat honey, but i do NOT eat any meat-- meat includes fish--and dairy products) doesn't mean i can't enjoy food as much as you can (Mmmmmmmmmmmmm...)! I'm learning new recipes all the time and enjoying the fruits of my labor. We've been eating more sweets then we should lately, but we'll get off it when the holiday season is over (fingers crossed).

Funny Story:

We were driving home from ballet when mommy suggested that we went to Burger Ville to eat, me and Dear Sister begged her and Daddy not to! Then, i realized this: We were the kids and WE were the ones wanting not to go out! Isn't that funny? Me and Dear Sister have gotten tired of that greasy food that makes you feel sick...

I've been feeling really happy recently... I don't know why. Me and Dear Sister have been getting along really well, so maybe that has something to do with it... also Brother2 is adorable and still a little baby... maybe that's it, Brother1 is wonderfully cute and talking up a storm... i wonder that might be why i feel this way.

Kings of Darkness is going really well and i can't wait to publish it! I'm only on page #47, but some day I'll finish it. Writing's hard.

Thanks so much for reading!

Fall/Winter

I love the feel of fall/winter! I just took a smell of that cold air... Oh my! It feels like Thanksgiving and Christmas! I love the dark, moist air... the cool and starry nights... I keep forgetting how much I love winter and fall until they come around again! I can't wait until Thanksgiving... We're going to make a tofurky! It was SO delicious last year... My mouth is watering just thinking about it... And I'll make some chocolate pudding... yeah, that sounds good... Any way, for Halloween I'll be a harpy (half bird half woman). I'm not going to go trick-or-treating this year because I'm Vegan and I wouldn't like to be around so much candy. I am going to dress up and go to ballet for some Halloween class, it will be a lot of fun. I plan to make a cake! I love cooking. I make meals for my family all the time now, I made us pancakes for breakfast today. I hope you're as excited about fall as I am!

Crazy Dreams

Dreams are really weird. Really really weird. Last night, i dreamed i was kidnapped by some witches, three of them. Their names were: Holly, Sibyl and i don't know the others. Any way, they looked a lot like the witches from that movie 'Star Dust' if you saw it. The way i finally escaped was by finding out one thing about them: They all had the same name. After i said that, they just shrieked and my dream was pretty much over. One really weird thing about it is that it had subtitles, this is the first time i ever had subtitles in a dream. I was wearing this really really ugly plaid dress, well, the witches made me wear it. I figured out they had the same name (i guess that was their magical weakness or something) because of a flashback i saw for some strange reason: It showed their mother appear--i think she was a witch too--she made the witches who had me kidnapped appear out of nowhere, (that was how they were 'born' i guess), only they were full grown. They were beautiful then, not ugly and old like they were in most of my dream. Each one stepped forward and the mother witch said:
"You are ??? (i can't remember what name she said)"
"No! I want Holly!" the first one said.
"Alright," the mother witch went to the next one, "You are ??? (the same name she said last time)"
"No! I want a Sibyl!" (whatever a Sibyl is)
"Alright," she went to the last one. "You are ???" the same name again.
"No! I want ???" i can't remember what name that one said.
Any way, they weren't talking about names, the meant Christmas presents! (i don't know why) So they were actually all named the same thing. That was the magical weakness. I figured it out somehow and got away.
So i hope you've enjoyed my freaky dream... I don't know how all this got in my head. Just thought i'd share it. Have you had any weird dreams?

Waking Up

Hey!

If you want to get up in the morning, DON'T LIE BACK DOWN! I've done it millions of times! It usually goes something like this:
Alarm goes off, i get up,
"Oh! It's just so early... I'll lie down for five minutes!"
Next thing i know it's 10:00! Just remember that. The sad thing is that i know better, i just keep doing it! I didn't do it yesterday, which was really smart, but i did to day... Oh well. Here's a Tip:
If you can have two alarms, set one alarm for 30 to 60 minutes before you need to be up, set the other for when you need to be up. When the first alarm goes off, you turn it off then go back to bed, then the other goes off and you get out! This creates the illusion of sleeping in.

Kings of Darkness

As you know (if you read the 'about me' thing) i'm writing a book called "Kings of Darkness", i really enjoy writing. Kings (kings of darkness) is a cool book, but i'm only on page 45 (?). It's a fantasy (as you probably guessed since i love them so much!) about a girl named May who gets thrust into this land called Glorsifil where she has to join these Rebels and fight a king named Ronan. I plan to make it around 200 pages. I'm not going to tell you much more because if i do then why would you get the book once it's published? I really want to publish this book! I'd like to be the youngest published author in history! Who knows, maybe i will! I don't usually think about that though, I mostly think about what a cool book it is and how much i want to get it out!

Thanks for reading!

The end of summer...

Hi!

So summer's over... I miss it already. The thing i'll miss most is swimming! We had to put our pool away yesterday, we were out there forever and it still wasn't done! Daddy, Dear Sister (find her blog at: me-in-general.blogspot.com) and i were doing it for a long time... My left pinkie turned completely white! I'm not kidding! I could barely feel it... We finished it just a little bit ago, mommy would have helped but she had to watch and care for Brother2. As the end of summer approached, i started to fear it... but then i thought of all the wonderful things fall would bring: the gorgeous leaves, Halloween, Not-Back-To-School-Day, Thanks Giving, and of course it will be cooler... If only i could just keep swimming with out freezing to death... But then what would summer be good for? I don't know... It's just my favorite season.

Good Books:

Okay, here are some books that i really love!

Eragon: Eragon is a great book for fantasy lovers (like me)! It's about a man (he's almost a man anyway) named Eragon (big surprise) who finds a blue stone. The blue stone turns out to be a dragon egg, he and the Dragon do well at first, but then these strangers come to Carvahall (the city he lives in) and that changes everything. I'm really bad at giving descriptions so i'll just give a review: It's highly interesting but a little sad at some points, it has magic and mystery and keeps you guessing, it's my favorite (besides Eldest)
Eldest: If you liked Eragon, then you should read this, the next book in the series of inheritance. This one has a little less action, but still is really good. It takes the perspective of a few other characters more than in Eragon (the book), but still focuses on Eragon (the human). It has a lot more magic, and the end broke my heart, don't worry, things can go on! It just made me furious... No one that important died, though i fear for a few characters in the next book. Eragon falls in love in this one, but his affections aren't returned, it's all a good story and just as good as Eragon, if not better.
Into The Land Of The Unicorns: IF YOU ARE A BOY, DON'T SKIP OVER THIS! Even though it had a girly name, it is not a girly book (though it might be, just tiny tiny bit)! It's very interesting, it has betrayals and truths, magic and monsters, adventures and secrets, and best of all: it's by Bruce Coville! It's a wonderful book and keeps you glued to it 'til the end!
Song of the Wanderer: Song of the wanderer is better than the first book, Into the Land of the Unicorns, but has the same basic theme. It's really enjoyable and i'm waiting and waiting for the third book!
Ink Heart: It's a book by Cornelia Funke, and it's awsome! The story takes place in this world, but it ties into many others. It's really good, but has less magic and action than the other books. The whole theme is about people who can read things/people in/out of books because the books are real! The people in them exsist in a differant world! But we don't find out until later in the book. Sorry if i ruined it. The story centers around a girl named Meggie whose actually more crazy about books than me (and that's saying something)! I really loved this book, it had mystery and magic and stories that have those are always my favorites. This book is going to be a movie soon so you might want to read this first.
Ink Spell: This is the second book to Ink Heart, it has a LOT more magic than the other and takes place mainly in another world--though it still centers on Meggie. This one is a little mushy and slightly romantic, but not so much that it should bother you all that much.

I can't think of any others at the moment, so i'll write more later!
