That's it.

I'm officially haunted.

Okay, let me explain...

I watched the last American Idol episode*, and they had a few 'Phantom of the Opera' songs in it. Anyway, they made it seem like Carly Smithson was going to sing 'All I Ask of You', and I happen to love that song (I'd seen it in some book or another, but I never saw heard it in it's full glory). I was really excited... and then she sang 'Jesus Christ, Super Star' instead, and ended up getting kicked off. (*uncontrollable crying*--I loved Carly)

Anyway, I was really disappointed that I didn't get to hear it so I YouTubed that song. I got the 2004 movie version and it was amazing. I'd never seen anything like it! I was so impressed that I looked up few others. And--can you believe it?--they were amazing too!

So now I was really excited about it. I told Nana and she lent me her 'Phantom of the Opera' CD and libretto script (thank you so very much, Nana!), and I plan to watch the 2004 movie A.S.A.P.

So the Phantom of the Opera has gotten to me. Wow. Is this what it's like to be haunted? If so, I love it!

*Honorable mentions from the last episode (in other words, the ones I enjoyed enough to remember): David Cooke (he sounded like the original!!! He's always amazing), Syesha ???, and I can't remember anyone else who did a good job...

Things that make Galaxy's head spin like crazy:

  1. Temporal Mechanics (a.k.a. things involving time travel); it makes no sense!!!
  2. One day I Nana was driving me to ballet and we passed a car accident. I started thinking about if the car might be a crashed Alien space ship, and when we leave there how one of the aliens or some government officials or something could wipe all of our memories and make it look like a car accident instead of a spaceship. I laughed. "Of course it can't be that," I said. "I'm looking at it right now!" And then I passed the car. Now for all I know I could have seen a U.F.O. Ever since then stuff like that starts going around and around in my head.
  3. If someone who always tells the truth is asked if they've ever told a lie, and they say yes, are they lying, or telling the truth?
  4. Those drawings of things that are impossible to make.
  5. Why Chikezie left American Idol before David Archuleta(sp?)... what's up with that?!

I'm sure there are many, many other things, but unfortunately I can't think of them right now! Have nice day!

Ballet, Summer, and much much more!

Today was the day I find out if I'm going to move up a level or not this summer of ballet.

I'm not.

But that's really what I wanted. Four days a week is enough for me--definitely! (level VI {the next level up and the last level of ballet} is five days a week--MINIMUM!!!) I'm just really sad that some of the other Ballerina's are moving up without me... I'm gonna miss them :-(

Anyway, Summer is coming up and I can't wait! I'll be able to (drum roll please) SWIM! Hooray!

Swim Facts About Galaxy:
  1. She has yet to learn how to take breathes while swimming, but she loves the pool and adores floating around.
  2. She and her sister invented a type of swimming called the 'Mermaid', which involves diving down to the bottom of the pool and swimming like a mermaid.
  3. Her parents own an inflatable* pool--which probably inspired her love of water.
  4. She likes sun-bathing a lot.
  5. If it's hot, she swims. NOTHING can get in her way.
  6. She waits all year to swim, and enjoys it thoroughly while she can.

Another cool thing about Summer is that this will be the first time in three years that I won't be in a musical, and thus, I have (after I finish 6 weeks of ballet) NOTHING to do! That's right, NOTHING!--besides hanging out and having fun with friends and family.

So... that's all I have to say--for now!

Bye!!!

Galaxy ;-)

*The pool isn't really inflatable; you just fill it up with water and it pops up. The pool is 12 feet by 42 inches.

Tuesday Tips #???

It's time for Tuesday Tips! (let's see if I remember next week!)

  1. Don't put things off. They'll only come back to haunt you.
  2. If you get angry at some one, (like your sister) just walk away for a bit. Take a couple deep breathes. Count to ten. I know that half of your mind is screaming: GEEEEET HEEEEER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, but remember, if you listen, you'll probably end up apologizing. After you count to ten, go back to her. Talk it through, don't get so angry you start claiming you own the bedroom walls(seriously, that's happened)... and if you still are angry after the ten counting, then you must have a good reason to be, and talk it through anyway. You'll feel better afterwards.
  3. Pay attention to what the little folk (baby siblings) say. Don't just blindly say, "Okay, whatever. Really? That's cool." it's likely they'll either start screaming or doing something you said was alright (remember that blind 'okay'?) that could seriously damage something--or even worse, them.
  4. Don't live in the past, but learn from it.
  5. Don't wait for the future, but plan for it.
  6. And ENJOY the present. It's now, so for goodness sake have some fun!

G is for Goofy

O is for Open with me

P is for Polite

Q is for Questioning

R is for Reluctant

S is for Sweet

T is for Talkative (once you get to know her, she can go on and on and on and on and on and
on...--not that that bugs me... I talk even more!--the funny thing is that when you first meet her she's so quiet...)

U is for Unemployed (currently... she's trying to find a job right now)

V is for Very fun

W is for Wary

X is for Xtra fun (it's not my fault I can't think of an adjective that begins with X!)

Y is for Yarn (she knits... a little)

Z is for Z, her sister's favorite letter of the Alphabet.

That's my Dear Sister's alphabet! Maybe someone could do mine?! That'd be sooo cool...

Galaxy

If I had children...

...I would name them:

Emily Carroll

Ronia ??? (I don't know what her middle name will be... if you have any ideas, please let me know)

and

??? William (his first name would be after Daddy, so he'd normally be called William)

I know I can't choose what gender of children I have, but if I could, I'd want two girls and a boy (the boy being the middle child). If I only had one girl I'd name her Emily, and my first boy would have to be named after my father because Daddy is just so awesome! Carroll is my mom's middle name, and my grandma's, so it makes sense to name Emily Emily Carroll after her.

So, what do you think of my names?

Okay...

I got the Easter post up (finally) and it's called 'Easter 08'. I think Blogger posted it right after the 'Happy Easter!' post, so you'll have to do a little digging in order to reach it.

Sorry it's taken me so long!

Happy April Fools!

Now that I'm done whining about Writer's Block (see below post), I can wish you a happy April Fools! I woke up this morning(ish) to mommy telling me and my sister (we share a room) we needed to go to the doctor's for her. We got up. We got dressed. We dressed Brother1 (which is harder than it sounds). It was only when we were in the garage and Brother1 was screaming 'I don't wanna go without my socks!' that mom said: 'I guess we don't have to then... April Fools!'

Dear Sister says she wasn't fooled, and that the only reason she was doing it was 'just in case it wasn't'. I don't know what to say to that. I think Brother1 was fooled.

And as for poor, pathetic me,

I was fooled all the way.

Writers Block

I've tried a million times. I've sat in front of the computer, just staring at Kings of Darkness... and all I've accomplished is backspacing page 100. What the heck am I supposed to do!? I really liked my story.... I just don't know what to write!!! Honestly, I've been trying to add more for over a month... maybe even two... I haven't really been keeping track, but that I know. *sigh* Writer's Block is one of the worst sicknesses, I think. (though nothing that I've had can defeat the stomach flew, strep(sp?) throat, or chicken pox... oh, if you want to read more about when I had chicken pox--and why I love showers--then go to some of my earlier posts in 2007)

I guess I can only hope that one day I'll find some sort of inspiration within me... This really is driving me crazy!

Wish me luck!
