A Whole New World

I've just started learning HTML... It is soooo awesome! You can do all these cool things like write above, or below the line! Or you could stryke strike out words! Well, I think that's all I have to say... I just needed to tell you about HTML. It's opened up a world of possibilities!

New Years Resolution

It's so hard to believe that the year of 2007 is nearly at an end... after all it was the year I was blessed with a new brother... the year I choreographed my first ballet... the year my mom cut her hair... the year I cut my hair... the year we took a mini vacation to Portland for daddy's Birthday... the year I started Kings Of Darkness... one of the best years of my life... I hope that 2008 will measure up.

I have two resolutions for the next year:

1: My first resolution for the next year is to finish Kings Of Darkness and find a skilled illustrator who can really draw the characters as I see them in my mind.
2: My second resolution for this year is to get a job--as a baby-sitter maybe.

That's it... for now.

Wish me luck!

In the after Christmas excitement I forgot about Wednesday Wishes! So here's Thursday Wishes:

1: I wish I could fly.
2: I wish my whole family could feel young and healthy for their entire lives!
3: I wish that the little sprouts (see earlier post) will grow big and strong.
4: I wish that I had the Sims 2 Free Time
5: I wish I had a job.
6: I wish that in the future Kings of Darkness will become as big of a hit as Harry Potter.
7: I wish that there were more good movies out there.
8: I wish that all the books and movies I'm waiting to come out were in my home finished and fabulous.
9: I wish that my whole family lived in the state of Oregon.
10: I wish for new years day to be WONDERFUL!

SPROUTS!

Remember my post about apple trees? Remember how Dear Sister and I planted some apple seeds? One of them has sprouted! And with a new sprout comes a new name, Dear Sister planted that seed so she got to name it... The new sprout's name is Apple. I stood against it but I'm sure I'll worm up to it eventually... and she is Paris' sprout. Besides the name, I LOVE my little tree! Here are some pictures of our new plant:

You might recognize the Pot from Laura and Joy (my too mini trees), they outgrew these ones so I moved them into bigger ones and used this to plant seeds in. The whole planting process was all rather easy, we folded the seeds in a moist paper towel and put it in a Zip-Loc baggy. We'd change the paper towel every once in a while until the seeds started to sprout. Then we stuck them in a pot filled with dirt about and inch deep and watered every once in a while. In the end, we have this sprout!

CHRISTMAS!!!

I love the Christmas feel! It's so warm and cozy and magical... ahhh... best of all, Daddy get's to stay home for the whole day!

Mommy and Daddy got me two presents, they had me unwrap the big one first; guess what it was?

Sheets.

Yes, sheets. Sure they were really cozy sheets, but still sheets. Then they had me open the small one, guess what that its?

MIND TRAP II!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's like one of the BEST things they could have gotten me! (Mind Trap is a bunch of puzzles with loads of trick questions and brain benders, Mind Trap II has even more! I love trick questions and brain benders!) Dear Sister got a mini MP3 player, (I got one for my birthday) and Brother1 got three foam swords (thank goodness!). We had some yummy pumpkin bread topped with 'cream cheese' frosting and pecan praline (all made and mixed at home) for breakfast! It was sooooo good! Nana and Don should be coming over to hang out with us, and we might stop by Aunt Katie's house, Grandma Janie is staying there at the moment. Soon we'll start carroling like crazy! My favorite is deck the halls.

Merry Merry Christmas!!!

Last Day of Ballet

Today was the last day of my ballet until 2008!!! I can't believe this year went by so fast... But then again, at the end of every year I feel this way... (big sigh) On the last day of Ballet, your family can come and watch a class. Mommy and Daddy and Dear Sister and Brother1 & 2 all came to see me on the first part... but they had to leave later... (my slogan:) oh well... At least Nana and Don were able to stay! Don loves to take pictures--he took like a million of my class--so I'll post some pretty prictures of my ballet some time 2007.

Merry Merry Chrismas!

I now invent Wednesday Wishes!

(For some reason it says that this post was posted on Monday, but it is Wednesday that I did this post F.Y.I.)

Wednesday Wishes is where (shocker) we write the ten things we are wishing for this very day.

1: I wish that we could go to Gym Day today, but Dear Sister isn't feeling well, and honestly neither am I. Plus, it doesn't seem like that many people are going to be there.
2: I wish I could get the picture of me at the top of my blog to work right.
3: I wish I could fly.
4: I wish I could finish Kings of Darkness before the new year.
5:
I wish that I could have a little cubbie I could go into without being claustrophobic.
6: I wish that Grandma Janie and Aunt Katie will love the presents we give them for their Birthdays!
7: I wish I had a job.
8: I wish I could get a lead role in a play.
9: I wish I could play that T.N.G. game I got on my birthday but haven't gotten to play.
10: I wish that Mommy and Daddy would come to see me dance this Friday.

I'm pretty sure that's it... You can now expect this every Wednesday.

Laura and Joy

A long time ago my Grandmother bought me and my siblings two mini Christmas trees! They're sooooo cute! I talk to them a lot... I even named them: the one of the left is: Laura Cheer A. The one on the right is: Karen (after my grandmother) Joy A.--we usually just call her Joy. Laura is about ten inches tall, and Joy is about six.
Here's a picture:

My absolutely adorable brother wanted to be in this one:

Well, there you go! Our gorgeous mini trees!

Review: Enchanted

I watched this movie with my grandmother... it was really good!

Story: VERY cute! It's a bit romantic with a touch of humor, a dash of song, a sprinkle of fun, and a happy ending! The story was easily followed and was appropriate for the whole family, the script made me laugh numerous times and was just plain cute!

Quality: The animations were great, the non-animation was great, the effects were excellent... what more can I say?

Acting Quality: BELIEVABLE in the true sense of the word. The lead actress was amazing, I thought she popped out of a fairy tale book! The prince was dashing and handsome and royal and gracious, the lead actor was very fun and sensible, completely perfect for the part! The little girl did a very good job for her age--I was impressed--and pretty much all around the cast was awesome!

Violence: Zero

Recommendations: This movie is great for THE WHOLE FAMILY.

Overall
Rating

Review: Pirates of the Carribean: At Worlds End

The day before yesterday I watched that movie, I'd seen the first and that's one of my favorite movies, I'd seen the second and thought that was really bad; here's my review of the third:

Story: The story line was very hard to follow, it started some where that had almost nothing to do with the ending of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, I never fully understood what was going on and it was very vague. It was about 2 hours to long and had an awful ending... Will could only see Elizabeth one day out of TEN YEARS! It wasn't even poetical. Not only was the story hard to follow, but it just wasn't any good, and there wasn't much of it... 80% of the movie was fluff.

Quality: Several of the effects looked pretty bad to me, and the light hearted humor that made me love the first was non-existent, the humor that was there was very mean spirited, I suppose there were a couple of funny points, but they were only copies of the first, in other words, they were the same jokes!

Acting Quality: All in all, it didn't impress me.

Violence: The beginning of the movie was watching dozens of people getting hanged, you saw them walk on, you saw the noose put around their neck, you saw the lever pulled, then you saw their feet fall through. They even had a boy get hanged, though you didn't see the feet fall. For every one minute of non-violence, there were five of violence. It made me sick. And even when the pirates won (I'd say the good guys, but there weren't really good or bad guys in the movie), when you should be going "YEAH!!!" they show this clip that took away the sweet taste of victory.

Recommendations: The type of people I would recommend this movie to is NO ONE.

Over All Rating (out of 10): 1

Apple Trees

Remember my post the perfect apples (if not, go read it)? Well, we're trying to plant some apple seeds from one of those wonderful apples! We folded them in a moist paper towel and put that in a plastic Zip-Loc baggy. Then we waited until the seeds were germinated... now what? We looked it up and all the sites said to plant the seeds outside, but we don't want to do that because it will take many years to grow, and we'll probably be out of this house by then! We want to grow the seeds in a pot until it can't possibly stay in one any longer... is that possible? We also read that the fruit of a younger apple tree won't be at all like the fruit of its parent... so we don't really know what to do... We'll probably just wing it... I'll post ten years from now and tell you how it went.

Blog Tag

I've been indirectly tagged by Qacei Moonshadow (once you've been 'tagged', you have to write a post of 10 random facts about yourself. At the end you write the 10 people you are tagging, listing their names and why you chose them)

1: Often I stay up late to read, the latest I've stayed up to is 5:00AM.
2: I hate wearing my hair in a bun--it looks too serious--but I end up wearing it that way a lot because of ballet.
3: The thing that smells best to me is fresh air right after it rains... it’s just so cool and crisp...
4: I HATE sad endings and think they should be eliminated from this earth unless it's in the movie Phenomenon (which you MUST see).
5: My father and I have a strange sense of humor that no one else gets... it's so weird...
6: I don't regret anything; sure, there are some things that I'm not proud of, but if they didn't happen I might not be here now. The only thing in the world I regret is (WAY back before I was Vegan) ordering a McDonald's Sundae instead of a plain Ice Cream Cone.
7: When I was little, the color of my eyes would change colors! It would be blue for an hour or too, then green. Now it's just green, and though I wish it still changed, I love the green of my eyes, it's so unique! I love unique!
8: I name plants, seriously, I have two baby Ever-Greens named Laura Cheer A. and Karen (after my grandmother) Joy A.
9: I’ve almost run out of wishes to wish on the stars, which is quite shocking.
10: I truly love my big family and I love that it's big!

Now it's time to tag!

Rose (Dear Sister's blogger name): I tag you because I know you'll have fun and you haven't posted much, plus, I'll get to read funny things about you!
Gestalt/Lifelover: I tag you because you're the only other person I know on blogger, and just because I'm curious.

Unfortunately, I don't know anyone else to tag, so if you're reading, You're It!

P.S. No Tag Backs!

Yahoo! Acounts

are impossible! We tried a million differant names! We tried 'Galaxy', we tried 'Galaxy333', we tried 'Galaxy777', we tried 'Galaxy42', (42 being the answer to Life, the Universe and Everything) we tried 'Galaxy Dance', we tried 'Galaxy Dancer', THEY WERE ALL TAKEN. Finally we settled on a name that didn't have anything to do with Galaxy. So sad. Oh well.

Now you're wondering why I am making a Yahoo! account? I just started a Home-Schooling book club. Why do I need a Yahoo! Account for that? So I can open a Group at the Yahoo sight! The Group is called: The Fantasy Book Club. We have some cool book choices there so you can choose one of them, hit the 'reply' button and type a quick message saying you want to read that book, read the book, then go to the F.B.C. (Fantasy Book Club) meeting, where ever that may be. We would decide where once me and Dear Sister know how many people are interested. We are really just starting this whole thing out. It should be really fun. I always wanted to be in a book club!

Love,

Galaxy

The Perfect Apples

Mommy and Daddy bought some apples at First Alternitive, nothing wrong with that. Then we tasted the apples. Then we tasted some more. Then we bought ten dollars worth and decided to plant our own tree of them. They were PERFECT!!! The didn't look much differant from your average apple, besides the fact that they were rather large, but if you tasted them... it was like candy I tell you! We couldn't stop eating them! I LOVE those apples...

New Years Resolution: Get A Job!

I want to get a job. I have some money saved up from birthdays (of course) but I really want to earn money, so I decided that I can spend a little money here and there to advertise my soon-to-be Baby Sitting business! I'm going to take the Red Cross class this upcoming January; I already started making Brochures and signs! I can't wait to get started! I LOVE little children so it should be really fun. Plus, I'll be open on school hours, so that will be a big sales pitch. As for Nanny Cams, I really do think that they're great because you can see what really is going on, and I definitely wouldn't mind if one of the people I'm going to work for used one, actually, I'm thinking about supplying my own Nanny Cam, but I don't know if I have enough money or if I want to spend it on that.

(not) Formally,
