How was the fair. It rained here a bit. Hope it didn't rain on you all. What all did you do? Has your mom fixed your red dress yet?

Thanks! We did!

Nope, the weather was mostly very nice.

No, Mom hasn't done anything with the straps of the dress I'm going to wear to 'The Phantom of the Opera' yet, but we will soon. I'm soooooooooooo excited!!!

I just realized 13...wow. long time. I remember the day before you were born Cal Ripkin ran the bases and got a standing ovation for doing something. baseball thing.

I think we taped it for you.

about a month before you were born, grandpa L and I were at the Metro with Matt, or Diane...and we ordered the Sept 7 cake...divinely decadent chocolate covered chocolate mousse and grandpa L thought it would be really "neat" he always said that if you were born September 7 so we could have an excuse to eat that cake...and of course Matt is Sept 7... So it turned out the girl who created Sept 7 cake was born that day and the gal who brought it to Eugene Oregon (as a chef extraordinairre) and I became really close and that's how I learned that she had brought it to Eugene...best get to bed I say to me...still trying to finish work after finishing work at work. my goodness but I'm so happy to work for you. Love from me.

Oh, here, I found it:

September 6, 1995 in History
Event:
Cal Ripken, Jr. breaks Gehrig's record, plays in 2,131 straight games

And so you were born September 7 just barely at 11:54 p.m...just as L wanted, just as I wanted, too. Princessa!
