Dungeons and Dragons

Dungeons and Dragons (a.k.a. D&D) is a really fun game. Every once in a while Dear Sister and I meet up with three of our friends and just play it at our house. I really love D&D because your on this journey, a journey that can last a lifetime! Here's basically how D&D goes:

You take a 'Character Sheet' and fill it out, you name them, decide your race, (elf, half-ork, half-elf, human, halfling, gnome... etc. etc.). Prior to this, the one who has been decided as the DM (Dungeon Master) thinks out an adventure, plans it, adds monsters to fight, and all other sorts of things. Then we all get together and play the adventure with our characters! It's sooo much fun! You can have your characters go on all sorts of adventures. My character is a half-elf named Miranda. After playing for a while, you can level up and gain more skills, and all sorts of cool things. It's really a fun game. Hopefully this Friday I should be able to play it... it's my turn to be the DM! I've worked really hard and come up with my adventure, it's pretty cool! It has bunches of treasure... magical items... all sorts of fun stuff! I'd post it, but I don't want Dear Sister to read it, she always reads my blog!

You know what alarms me about your alarming alarm post? No place to comment!

but let's pretend I could comment, then I would say, well, to me, a half hour is barely enough time to get all that done (prekiddums I would say 10-15min is barely enough time to get all that done). An hour and a half feels like plenty of time...??? But maybe that's the reason you are so much better at being on time than me.

Yay...I was going to say something about that...(not being able to comment!) It's weird...do you know what's going on with that?

I have no idea! It's sooo frustrating! And yeah, I guess that may seem like plenty of time, but I was expecting a nice slow morning... Where all I had to do was wake up, then I could play sims... Then I could eat some oatmeal... then I could do hundreds of things while I slowly got ready. But then I only had an hour and a half to get ready and everything was rushed! I guess if I had planned it that way it wouldn't have been so hard, it's just that I was so off guard... besides, I wasn't ready a second too soon.

I have an alarming alarm...it's had the same battery for over six years now...One of those perpetual batteries must have escaped; I bought it and now my alarm clock will never stop...And less you be thinking I'm tempting fate; I've already done that, here's my post, and wait - the battery has been working over seven years now:12/21/2006 11:14:38 AM

I really shouldn't say anything - maybe the spell will be broken, but there's something unusual about my ALARM clock. ....the thing is, I've had it six plus years and HAVE NEVER CHANGED THE BATTERIES.

Hey, Galaxy,

Did you try clicking "posting options" below the place where you write what you're going to blog? IF you click it, then you can clock "allow" or "don't allow". Or is it not there?

Sounds like fun! (D&D, that is)

Huh? I don't understand... You seem to know more about blogging in the first week* than I knew in the first month!

*How long have you been blogging?

Oops, sorry I didn't see that comment! That was looong ago! Oh well, I'll explain anyways, even though maybe you know now...Below where you type in the post, there is a little "post options" button. (It's next to where you type in the labels) If you click "post options" then there is something that drops down that says "reader comments". You can click "allow" or "don't allow". Maybe it isn't there, though. Then I think if you click "publish post" again, it will stay in the right place time-wise but it might let readers comment. I hope it helps, if you still want to change that!
