...spinning fast and freely...

I was going to drop off one of my Netflix videos in the mail box, singing the song I always do when I'm going to the mail box:

Two little princesses,
Dancing in a row,
Spinning fast and freely,
On their little toes,
Where the light take/find
(which one I say depends on my mood ) them,
No one ever knows/There's only one way to know, (again with the mood)
Two little princesses,
Dancing in a row,
Spinning fast and freely,
On their little toes,
Where the light will take them,
No one ever knows,
Two little princesses...(etc. etc.)

To end the song, you hold the last note (row...) and... er, make kind of mysterious sounding? Ominous? It's hard to describe. Anyway, I got that song from 'Tin Man'. (it's a mini series which is basically the Wizard of Oz--futuristic style. Instead of Oz, we've got the O.Z. (Outer Zone), instead of Dorothy Gale, we have D.G.... stuff like that. It was a good show, with a good theme, and was very interesting, though at times it went a little over the edge in morality... or, rather, violence? No, it was just the pain you see people in... it's hard to describe.)

Anyway, I was going to the mail box singing my little song. I put the D.V.D. into the mail, I turned around and starting walking home, then, I noticed my shadow. I started watching it. I had been walking for a while when turned my head, and my hair bounced in front of my shoulders and I saw little curl ups at the bottom of my some-what strait hair. I started shifting as I walked so I could see the curls bouncing around. It looked really pretty. And then I started spinning, using my ballet trick of spotting (keeping your head in one place as long as possible then whipping it around) so I could keep my eyes on my shadow. And then I stopped looking at my shadow, and was singing proudly and happily and was dancing across the street towards my house, spinning and spinning and skipping... somehow I got passed my joint pain for then, (I'd taken my Ibuprofen(sp?) and I'd been moving around for a while. That helps a little.) and continued up to my door, where I finished the song with one happy note and burst into my house, with a big grin. I felt really good.

I don't know why I'm posting about this, I just felt like it. It was a good experience.
